SET US FREE. Members of the National Union of Journalists of the Philippines and Bayan Muna Rep. Satur Ocampo set pigeons free to symbolize their call to uphold press freedom. February 23, anniversary of the 1st Filipino journalist killed under the Arroyo regime, was declared by the NUJP as an International Day of Action for the Philippine media. Fifty journalists have been killed since 2001, making the country the 2nd most dangerous place for journalists, next to Iraq.
